Announcements for March 14, 2008

New 21 Marker Analysis:

DNA Tribes is pleased to include six additional STR markers (D2S1338, D19S433, F13A1, F13B, FES/FPS, and LPL) for a total of 21 powerful STR marker systems now included in all new analyses. These additional markers allow a closer comparison of each person's DNA to world populations and genetic regions regions to corroborate or clarify previous results.

Updated Global Survey:

Our global survey of world populations has been updated to reflect our new 21 marker analysis for a more detailed map of world regions as well as a refined DNA Tribes Europa sub-region analysis. This global survey provides a robust context to understand your own results, and can be viewed or downloaded in PDF format here. Information about our newly refined description of world genetic regions can be viewed on the Populations section of DNAtribes.com.
