DNA Tribes and GTL are proud to sponser DNA testing and genetic ancestry analysis for youth participating in the Be Proud program. This project aims to provide at-risk youth with a fuller understanding of their connections to the world. This can help build a positive sense of self that extends beyond their own neighborhoods and is part of the larger community. Each participating youth will research the genetic connections they uncover, providing a learning opportunity with personal meaning.
